About our December meeting

The MTA is holding in-person meetings of the MTA Board and the MTA Board’s committees, held separately over two days.

MTA Board committee chairs will convene its meetings on Monday, December 13. On Wednesday, December 15, a meeting of the full MTA Board will begin at 10 a.m.

UPDATE: Consistent with Gov. Hochul’s announcement regarding mask and vaccine requirements, the MTA will require all visitors who plan to attend the Board meeting on Wednesday, December 15, to show proof that they are fully vaccinated. Anyone who fails to provide proof of vaccination status will not be admitted to 2 Broadway for the purpose of attending the Board meeting.

Diversity

Public comment

We want to hear from you.

The public will have the opportunity to provide in-person or virtual comments at the full Board meeting. Up to 30 members of the public may provide comment at each meeting. Should the maximum number of speakers be reached, additional speakers will have the opportunity to provide video comments that will be provided to Board Members and made available on the meeting webpage.

Those who wish to provide in-person public comments can register at 2 Broadway between 9:25 and 9:55 a.m. on Wednesday, December 15 for the full Board meeting.

Registration to provide virtual comments at today's board meeting is now closed.

We are still observing some COVID-19 safety protocols. Seating capacity will be limited to 52 people to allow for three feet of social distancing, with an overflow room that can hold up to an additional 25 members of the public. Masks are required to be worn by all individuals at 2 Broadway. The public is encouraged to watch the meeting online here via livestream.
