The proposed Q44-SBS runs northbound to Bronx Zoo and southbound to Jamaica.
The proposed length of the Q44-SBS route is 13.8 miles.

The route would include connections to the Bx22, Bx42, Q16, Q20, Q40, Q45, Q46, Q48, Q50, Q60, Q75, and Q88. It would also connect to the trains and the Long Island Rail Road.
