The proposed B7 Local runs southbound to Midwood and northbound to Ridgewood.
The proposed length of the B7 Local route is 9.2 miles.
In the existing route, the average stop spacing is 662 feet. Under the proposed route, that would increase to 1,164 feet.
The proposed route would connect to the B5, B6, B8, B9, B10, B12, B13, B14, B15, B17, B25, B26, B31, B35, B38, B40, B41, B41 XT, B44, B44 SBS, B45, B46, B46 SBS, B47, B49, B53, B55, B60, B66, B68, B76, B82, B82 SBS, B100, B103, Q35, Q39, Q55, Q58, and Q98.
It would also connect to the trains.

Review the B7 route summary
As part of the Brooklyn Bus Network Redesign, the proposed B7 would be extended north to Ridgewood via Cooper St/Av, 61/62 Sts, and Fresh Pond Rd for a new interborough connection. The new extension would replace a portion of the existing B13 in Glendale and would travel a path similar to a portion of the existing B20 in Bushwick. A connection to the train would be available at Chauncey St station instead of Halsey St station. Bus service changes in Brooklyn are still being reviewed and will be finalized as part of the Brooklyn Bus Network Redesign Proposed Final Plan.
To match stop spacing on other Local routes, B7 stops would be spaced slightly farther apart than existing to speed up buses and improve reliability.
No frequency or service span changes are being proposed at this time.
