Review the B38 route summary

As part of the Brooklyn Bus Network Redesign, the proposed B38 would maintain the same routing as its Seneca Av branch. Existing B38 service on Stanhope St, Woodward Av, Starr St, Metropolitan Av, and Grandview Av would be discontinued. Service would still be provided by the proposed B57 on nearby Flushing Av with increased frequencies and by the proposed Q54 on Metropolitan Av with increased frequencies. Bus service changes in Brooklyn are still being reviewed and will be finalized as part of the Brooklyn Bus Network Redesign Proposed Final Plan.

The existing B38 Local and B38 Limited would be combined into one proposed B38 Local route, with stops spaced slightly farther apart than existing to speed up buses and improve reliability. All B38 buses will stop at all proposed B38 stops.

Frequencies would be the same as the existing B38 Local and B38 Limited combined, leading to an increase in frequency on Seneca Av. No service span changes are being proposed at this time.
