Your best public transit option from LaGuardia Airport is the LaGuardia Link Q70, a free bus that travels nonstop from the airport to the subway lines in Jackson Heights, Queens. You can also ride one more stop to Woodside for the Long Island Rail Road.
You can also take the M60-SBS from LaGuardia Airport to Manhattan. From there, you can connect to the along 125th Street, the at 116th Street, or the in Astoria, Queens.

- The LaGuardia Link Q70 is free. You do not have to pay to board the Q70 at LaGuardia Airport. To continue your trip on the subway or another local bus, use OMNY by tapping your contactless debit or credit card, smartphone, or wearable device. You can also purchase and use a MetroCard.
- M60-SBS service costs $2.90. Use OMNY by tapping your contactless debit or credit card, smartphone, or wearable device on the bus. You can also use your MetroCard. You have to pay the fare before you board. Get a receipt at a sidewalk kiosk near the bus stop as proof of payment.
- Transfers between the subway and bus are free for two hours when you use the same card or device.
Option 1: Take the Q70 to the subway.
1. Catch the LaGuardia Link Q70 at Terminals B or C.
From Terminal B and C, follow the signs for public transit. The LaGuardia Link Q70 stops in front of the terminal and runs nonstop every 8-10 minutes to the subway. If you arrive at Terminal A, the M60 bus provides a quicker ride into the city, though you may also take the airport shuttle to Terminal B.
The LaGuardia Link Q70 bus service is free. Buses are equipped with luggage racks for your convenience. Board through any door.
2. Take the Q70 to Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Avenue/74 St-Broadway.
The Q70 runs nonstop from Terminal B to the at Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Av, and the at 74 St-Broadway. The trip takes about 15 minutes in typical traffic. Service runs every 8-10 minutes from the airport.

You do have to pay to enter the subway system. The fare is $2.90 for most people.
Option 2: Take the LaGuardia Link Q70 to the Long Island Rail Road.

The M60 stops at every airport terminal.
2. Transfer to the subway or bus in Manhattan or Queens.
Many M60 stops are near subway stations. Convenient places to catch the bus are:
- 106th Street and Broadway
- 116th Street and Broadway
- 120th Street and Broadway
- Along 125th Street (multiple stops)
The M60 connects to the along 125th Street, or the at 116th Street. There is also a Metro-North station at Harlem-125th Street.
The M60 also stops in Astoria, Queens, where you can connect to the lines.
