On Monday, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the subway will run on a regular weekday schedule. Buses will run on a modified weekday schedule, with special schedules for some express bus routes. The LIRR will run on a weekday schedule, with off-peak fares in effect on all trains. Metro-North will run on an expanded Saturday schedule, with additional trains in the morning and evening peak hours. Check TrainTime or Schedules for details.

- trains aren't running between Crescent St and Jamaica Center-Parsons/Archer.
- trains are running in two sections: between Astoria-Ditmars Blvd and 39 Av-Dutch Kills. and between 96 St on the line and Coney Island-Stillwell Av.

Major subway service changes
trains, Manhattan and Queens
From midnight Saturday to 4 a.m. Monday, accessibility upgrade work at Queensboro Plaza.
trains aren't running between 74 St-Broadway and 34 St-Hudson Yards in either direction, and trains aren't running between 39 Av-Dutch Kills and 57 St-7 Av in either direction. This is because of- For direct service between Manhattan and Queens, take trains to/from Queens Plaza, 36 St, and Jackson Hts-Roosevelt Av.
- The LIRR will accommodate MetroCard holders at no additional cost for service between Flushing, Mets-Willets Pt, Woodside, Grand Central, and Penn Station.
- Free shuttle buses are running along four routes:
- trains are running between Flushing-Main St and 74 St-Broadway.
- Between Astoria-Ditmars Blvd and 39 Av-Dutch Kills.
- Between 96 St on the line and Coney Island-Stillwell Av.
trains are running in two sections:
- 42 St Shuttle trains are running overnight to provide alternate service between Times Sq-42 St and Grand Central-42 St.
trains, Bronx
From 11:30 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday,
trains aren't running between 161 St-Yankee Stadium and Norwood-205 St in either direction and downtown trains aren't stopping at 155 St. This is because of structural maintenance work.- trains are running between Coney Island-Stillwell Av and 161 St-Yankee Stadium.
- For service between 161 St-Yankee Stadium and Bedford Park Blvd, take the to nearby stations along Jerome Av.
- For service to/from 155 St, take an uptown train.
- Norwood-205 St is connected by a free D90 shuttle bus to Mosholu Pkwy .
- Transfer between the and the at 161 St-Yankee Stadium.
trains, Manhattan and Queens
From midnight to 6 a.m. Saturday, 11 p.m. Saturday to 6 a.m. Sunday, and 11 p.m. Sunday to 4 a.m. Monday, accessibility upgrade work at Queensboro Plaza.

trains aren't running between Crescent St and Jamaica Center-Parsons/Archer in either direction from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday because of station improvement work.
- Free J90 shuttle buses are running between Crescent St and 121 St, connecting to Jamaica-Van Wyck . Look for signs outside your station for walking directions to the shuttle bus stop.
- For service to/from Sutphin Blvd-Archer Av-JFK Airport and Jamaica Center-Parsons/Archer, take the .
- trains are running between Broad St and Crescent St.
trains, Manhattan and Brooklyntrains aren't running between Prospect Park and 96 St in either direction from 12:45 a.m. Saturday to 3 a.m. Monday because of track replacement.
- Free Q90 shuttle buses are running between Prospect Park and Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr.
- For service between Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr and 57 St-7 Av, take trains.
- For service between 57 St-7 Av and 96 St, take trains, which are running on the line between these stations.
- trains are running between Coney Island-Stillwell Av and Prospect Park.

Downtown
and local trains are running on the express track between 96 St and Times Sq-42 St from 9:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday because of structural and station maintenance.- For service to/from bypassed stations, take an uptown train.
Wakefield-bound
trains are running on the express track from Gun Hill Rd to Wakefield-241 St from 3:45 a.m. Saturday to 10 p.m. Sunday because of track replacement.- For service to/from bypassed stations, take a Manhattan-bound train.
and trains are running less frequently Saturday and Sunday while trains share tracks in Manhattan.
- trains are running every 8 minutes from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 p.m. Saturday and 10:30 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. Sunday.
- trains are running every 12 minutes from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.
trains, Brooklyn
Coney Island-bound
and Church Av-bound trains are running on the express track from Smith-9 Sts to Church Av from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday because of electrical maintenance.- For service to/from bypassed stations, take a Queens-bound train.

Long Island Rail Road service changes
Far Rockaway Branch
Far Rockaway Branch trains are running to Grand Central from 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Transfer at Jamaica for service to Penn Station.
