Connecting between the LIRR and local buses in Jamaica

Updated Dec 13, 2024
Buses serving destinations across Queens and Nassau County are available near the LIRR’s Jamaica Station.

If you’re traveling to or from a destination in Queens or Nassau County, you may be able to take a local bus at the 165 St/Jamaica Bus Terminal, a short bus ride away from the LIRR’s Jamaica Station. This major bus hub offers frequent bus connections with destinations throughout Queens and Nassau County. MTA staff are available at the terminal if you need assistance.

The 165 St/Jamaica Bus Terminal will soon undergo reconstruction and be replaced by the nearby 168 St Interim Bus Terminal. Until then, it will continue to provide a vital service for customers in Southeastern Queens and Nassau County. Check back here for more updates soon.
