Review the Bx30 Route Summary
Route
The Bx30 routing will change. Instead of operating on East Gun Hill Road, the route’s Boston Road service will extend all the way from Conner Street to Pelham Parkway. The new routing will provide new connections to and from the Pelham Pkwy station and the Bx12 Local and Select Bus Service.
Note: The Draft Plan proposal to terminate the route at Asch Loop in the eastbound direction will not be implemented. The Bx30 will maintain its existing routing in Co-op City, while moving forward with the Draft Proposal to reroute service to Boston Road.
Key connecting routes include: Bx12, Bx12 Select Bus Service, Bx23, Bx25, Bx26, Bx28, Bx31, Bx38, Bx39, and Q50 Limited.
Stops
Seven percent (6 of 82) of the Bx30 stops along the new alignment will be removed, improving stop spacing from 896 feet to 968 feet. By removing these stops, we’ll improve reliability along the route.

Schedule
The Bx30 schedule will not change. The Bx30 will have the same service span and weekend frequencies as it currently does. Due to the routing change, ridership will be closely monitored, and schedules will be adjusted accordingly.
