The Bx23 routing will not change. The route serves as an important connector to multiple bus routes and subway service in and around Co-op City.
Key connecting routes include: Bx5, Bx12, Bx12 Select Bus Service, Bx30, and Q50 LTD.

No Bx23 stops will be removed.

Schedule
The Bx23 weekday and weekend schedule will improve moderately in both directions to make up for the loss of Bx29 and Q50 Limited service (during the midday and weekends) in Co-op City. This will provide a more frequent connection to and from all sections of Co-op City, to other Co-op City routes, and to the Pelham Bay Park Station.
