Happy Friday! We've been enjoying the first few crisp, cool days of Actual Fall in NYC this week, but it seems like summer hasn't quite taken its leave, since the days are projected to warm up again this weekend. So make some plans to get outside and enjoy the warmer weather while it lasts—and remember, as always, public transit is the best way to get there.
If you're traveling to JFK airport this weekend, note that trains aren't running to Howard Beach-JFK Airport and trains aren't running to Sutphin Blvd-Archer Av-JFK Airport. Take the to Sutphin Blvd-Archer Av-JFK Airport or the LIRR to Jamaica. The LIRR will accommodate subway riders between Brooklyn and Jamaica at no additional cost.

Major subway service changes
trains, Brooklyn
trains aren't running in Brooklyn from 11:30 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday because of station improvement work.
- For service between Borough Hall and Franklin Av-Medgar Evers College, take trains.
- For service between Franklin Av-Medgar Evers College and New Lots Av, take the , which is running to/from New Lots Av all weekend, including overnight.
- Transfer between and trains at Fulton St.
- trains are running between Woodlawn and Bowling Green.
trains, Queens
trains aren't stopping at Flushing-Main St in either direction from 12:15 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday because of track replacement.
- For service to/from Flushing-Main St, take free shuttle buses, which are running between Mets-Willets Point and Flushing-Main St.
- trains are running between 34 St-Hudson Yards and Mets-Willets Point, every 8 minutes during the day and evening.
trains, Brooklyn and Queens
trains aren't running between Euclid Av and Lefferts Blvd/Howard Beach-JFK Airport from 11:30 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday because of track replacement.
- For service between Euclid Av and Lefferts Blvd/Howard Beach-JFK Airport, take free shuttle buses, which are running along two routes:
- Local, making all stops between Euclid Av and Lefferts Blvd/Howard Beach-JFK Airport.
- Express between Euclid Av and Howard Beach-JFK Airport, stopping at Aqueduct-North Conduit Av in the Euclid Av-bound direction.
- For service to JFK Airport , take the to Sutphin Blvd-Archer Av-JFK Airport. Or, take the LIRR, which is accommodating subway riders at no additional cost between Atlantic Terminal, Nostrand Avenue, East New York, and Jamaica.
- trains are running in two sections:
- Between Inwood-207 St and Euclid Av, every 12 minutes during the day and evening.
- Between Howard Beach-JFK Airport and Far Rockaway-Mott Av.
trains, Brooklyn
From 9:30 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, trains aren't running between Hoyt-Schermerhorn and Church Av in either direction and Coney Island-bound trains are making express stops from Jay St-MetroTech to Kings Hwy. This is because of signal modernization work.
- For service to/from 7 Av and Church Av, take the .
- For local service to stations between Bergen St and Church Av and stations between Church Av and Kings Hwy, take a Manhattan-bound .
- To connect between and trains, take trains between Hoyt-Schermerhorn and Jay St-MetroTech.
- trains are running in two sections:
- Between Court Square and and Bedford-Nostrand Avs.
- Between Bedford-Nostrand Avs and Hoyt-Schermerhorn, every 20 minutes.

- For service between 121 St and Crescent St, free J90 shuttle buses are running between Jamaica Van-Wyck and Crescent St, making all stops between 121 St and Crescent St.
- When exiting the subway at Jamaica-Van Wyck or Crescent St, get a GO Ticket from a station agent to re-enter.
- For service to/from Jamaica Center-Parsons/Archer and Sutphin Blvd-Archer Av-JFK Airport, take the .
- For service to JFK Airport , take the to Sutphin Blvd-Archer Av-JFK Airport. Or, take the LIRR, which is accommodating subway riders at no additional cost between Atlantic Terminal, Nostrand Avenue, East New York, and Jamaica.

trains, Manhattan
trains aren't running between 8 Av and 14 St-Union Sq in either direction from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday because of accessibility work.
- For service between 8 Av, 6 Av, and 14 St-Union Sq, take free L92 shuttle buses or the M14.
- When exiting the subway at these stations, get a GO Ticket from a station agent to re-enter.
- trains are running between 14 St-Union Sq and Canarsie-Rockaway Pkwy, every 8 minutes during the day and evening.
trains, Brooklyn
trains aren't running between 36 St, Brooklyn and Bay Ridge-95 St in either direction from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday because of structural maintenance.
- For service between 36 St and Bay Ridge-95 St, take free shuttle buses, which are making all stops.
- For service to/from 45 St and 53 St, you can also take a Coney Island-bound , which is stopping at these local stations all weekend.
- For service to/from 59 St, you can also take the .
- When exiting the subway at 36 St or 59 St, get a GO Ticket from a station agent to re-enter.
- During the day and evening, trains are running between Forest Hills-71 Av and 36 St, Brooklyn and on the to/from 9 Av.
- During late nights, trains aren't running.
Manhattan-bound local trains are making express stops between 59 St and Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr during late nights from Friday night to Monday morning because of structural maintenance.
- For service to/from 53 St and 45 St, take a Coney Island-bound .
- For service to/from 25 St, Prospect Av, 4 Av-9 St, and Union St, take the .

trains aren't running between 34 St-Herald Sq and Prospect Park in either direction from 11:30 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday because of track replacement.
- For service between 34 St-Herald Sq and Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr, take trains.
- For service between Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr and Prospect Park, take free Q90 shuttle buses, which are making all stops between these stations.
- For service between Manhattan/Downtown Brooklyn and Coney Island, consider trains.
- trains are running in two sections, every 10 minutes during the day and evening:
- Between 96 St and 34 St-Herald Square.

- During the day and evening, trains are running every 20 minutes and trains are running every 8 minutes while trains share a track in Manhattan.
trains, the Bronx
Manhattan-bound trains aren't stopping from Burnside Av to 149 St-Grand Concourse from 5:45 a.m. Saturday to 8 p.m. Sunday because of track maintenance.
- For service to/from bypassed stations, take a Woodlawn-bound train.
trains, the Bronx
Dyre Av-bound trains aren't stopping at Morris Park, Gun Hill Rd, and Baychester Av from 3:45 a.m. Saturday to 10 p.m. Sunday because of structural maintenance.

- At Pelham Pkwy, all trains are stopping at the Manhattan-bound platform.

Pelham Bay Park-bound trains aren't stopping at Parkchester from 9:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday because of electrical improvement work.

From 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, Manhattan-bound and local trains aren't stopping between Jackson Hts-Roosevelt Av and Queens Plaza and Manhattan-bound local trains aren't stopping between Jackson Hts-Roosevelt Av and 21 St-Queensbridge. This is because of track maintenance.
