Subway service changes: June 21-24, 2024

There are service changes on the subway this weekend. Here's how that will affect how you get around.
Updated June 21, 2024 6:30 p.m.

Calling all mermaids, mermen, assorted sea creatures, or people who just like hanging out by the beach: This weekend is the Coney Island Mermaid Parade! If you're planning to attend but aren't the type to DIY an elaborate costume, consider one of the summer T-shirts for sale at the New York Transit Museum. There's a special mermaid-themed tee that's perfect for the occasion—or any other warm-weather activities you have planned.
