It's the last weekend of the shortest month of the year! We've got a few important announcements for the week ahead.
Starting Monday, and lasting 24/7 through December 2023, we're temporarily closing the transfer passageway between the and trains at 14 St-6 Av while we make accessibility improvements. A free out-of-system walking transfer will be available. Learn more, and see options for transferring at a different station.
Beginning 10 p.m. Sunday, Jamaica Center-bound trains will bypass 75 St-Elderts Ln and Woodhaven Blvd 24/7 through summer 2023 for station rehabilitation work. We'll be renewing platforms, making structural repairs, upgrading windscreens, and more. See travel alternatives, and learn more.

Major subway service changes
trains, Manhattan and Brooklyn
Trains are not running between 34 St-Penn Station and New Lots Av in either direction from 9:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday because of structural maintenance.
- For service to/from stations between 34 St-Penn Station and Franklin Av-Medgar Evers College, take the .
- For service to/from stations between Franklin Av-Medgar Evers College and New Lots Av, take the , which is extended to New Lots Av all weekend.
- trains are running between Harlem-148 St and 34 St-Penn Station all weekend, including overnight.

trains, Manhattan and Queens
Trains are not running between Queensboro Plaza and 34 St-Hudson Yards in either direction from 3:45 a.m. Saturday to 10 p.m. Sunday because of track maintenance.
- Free shuttle buses are running in two sections:
- Between Queensboro Plaza and Vernon Blvd-Jackson Av.
- Overnight only between 34 St-Hudson Yards and Times Sq-42 St. During the day, take the M34-SBS bus.
- Look for signs outside your station for walking directions to the shuttle bus stop.
- trains are running between Queensboro Plaza and Flushing-Main St.
- For service between Manhattan and Queens, take trains.
- Special weekend service is running every 20 minutes between 34 St-Herald Sq and Astoria-Ditmars Blvd from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
- 42 St Shuttle trains will run overnight.

trains, Manhattan
Until 5 a.m. Monday, February 27, World Trade Center-bound trains are running on the line from 5 Av/53 St to W 4 St-Wash Sq. This is because of switch replacement and signal modernization work.
- For service to/from 7 Av, take the to/from 47-50 St-Rockefeller Ctr.
- For service to/from 50 St and 23 St, take an uptown train.
- For service to/from 42 St-Port Authority Bus Terminal, 34 St-Penn Station, and 14 St, take the or train.
Until 5 a.m. Monday, February 27, downtown trains are running on the express track from 59 St-Columbus Circle to Canal St. This is because of switch replacement and signal modernization work.
- For service to/from bypassed stations, take an uptown train.

trains, Bronx and Brooklyn
From 11:30 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, trains are not running between 161 St-Yankee Stadium and Norwood-205 St in either direction, and uptown trains are not stopping at 155 St. This is because of structural maintenance work.
- trains are running between Coney Island-Stillwell Av and 161 St-Yankee Stadium.
- For service to/from 155 St, take a downtown train.
- For service between 161 St-Yankee Stadium and Bedford Park Blvd, take the .
- Norwood-205 St is connected by a free shuttle bus to Mosholu Pkwy . Transfer between the and the at 161 St-Yankee Stadium.
From 3:45 a.m. Saturday to 10 p.m. Sunday, there's no Manhattan-bound service between Coney Island-Stillwell Av and 36 St. All trains will run on the between those stations.
- For Manhattan-bound service to/from these stations, take a Coney Island-bound train to 62 St/New Utrecht Av or Coney Island-Stillwell Av, then transfer.

Trains are not running between Church Av and Coney Island-Stillwell Av in either direction from 9:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday because of signal modernization work.
- For service to/from stations between Church Av and Coney Island-Stillwell Av, use nearby stations and local bus service.
- trains are running between Jamaica-179 St and Church Av.
- For direct service to/from Coney Island-Stillwell Av, take trains.
- For direct service to/from W 8 St-NY Aquarium, take the train.

- Free shuttle buses are running between Crescent St and 121 St, connecting to Jamaica-Van Wyck . Look for signs outside your station for walking directions to the shuttle bus stop.
- For service to/from Sutphin Blvd-Archer Av-JFK Airport and Jamaica Center-Parsons/Archer, take the .
- For direct service to JFK Airport, transfer to a Far Rockaway-bound train at Broadway Junction for service to Howard Beach.
- trains are running between Broad St and Crescent St.

trains, Manhattan and Brooklyn
trains are not running between 8 Av and Broadway Junction in either direction from 11 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday because of station improvement work. trains will provide additional service to/from Manhattan, making regular stops to/from 47-50 Sts-Rockefeller Ctr, and line stops to/from 96 St.
- In Manhattan, M14A/D-SBS buses provide alternative service at stations along 14 St. Transfer between the M14 and the train at 6 Av or Delancey St-Essex St to get to/from Brooklyn.
- In Brooklyn, free shuttle buses are running along three routes:
- Between Broadway Junction and Myrtle-Wyckoff Avs
- Between Metropolitan Av-Lorimer St and Myrtle-Wyckoff Avs
- Between Metropolitan Av-Lorimer St , Bedford Av, Marcy Av , Hewes St , and Broadway
- Look for signs outside your station for walking directions to the shuttle bus stop.

Pelham Bay Park-bound trains are running on the express track from Hunts Point Av to Pelham Bay Park from 9:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday because of signal work.

From 9:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, uptown trains are running on the express track from Euclid Av to Broadway Junction, and downtown trains are running on the express track from Utica Av to Broadway Junction. This is because of track maintenance.
- For service to/from bypassed stations, take take a train in the opposite direction to the next express station, and transfer.
