Updated November 1, 2024 12:00 p.m.

Happy Friday, happy November, and happy marathon weekend! If you're planning on watching the TCS New York City Marathon on Sunday, the subway is the best way to get there. Bus riders should expect diversions along the marathon route, and some subway entrances in busy areas may be designated as exit-only to prevent overcrowding. Check service status or the MTA app for real-time information before and during your trip.

And a heads up for  riders: Starting Monday night, there will be major weeknight service changes on these lines for the next two weeks while we replace switches at 59 St-Columbus Circle. Learn more about these service changes, as well as upcoming weekend service changes on the  later in the month.
