MTA Diversity Contract Compliance Unit

Updated Dec 19, 2022

The MTA’s Department of Diversity and Civil Rights (DDCR) establishes MTA’s M/W/DBE and SDVOB goals aimed to increase the participation of historically underprivileged businesses. The program for federally funded contracts term those certified eligible to participate as Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE). For state-funded contracts, those certified eligible are termed Minority and Women-Owned Enterprises (M/WBE) and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses (SDVOB).

DDCR’s M/W/DBE/SDVOB Contract Compliance Unit is responsible for monitoring the established M/W/DBE and SDVOB goals for each contract and to ensuring that M/W/DBE and SDVOB prime and subcontractor participation is maximized on each contract.
