Bill Amarosa is the Acting Senior Vice President of Subways at NYCT, leading the team responsible for operating, maintaining, and improving the largest subway system in North America. In his previous role as Vice President of Operations Support, Bill led a diverse team responsible for the critical back-office functions that allow the operating divisions of Subways to focus on their core missions.
Bill has over two decades of management experience, primarily focused on using financial and performance analysis to support planning decisions and drive operational and financial improvements. Bill started his career with NYCT as a high-school intern and after ten years of private-sector experience, returned to the agency holding a series of leadership roles in the Office of Management & Budget and Operations Planning before joining the Subways team.
