The following list comprises three recently awarded Federal Transit Administration (FTA) grants that funded projects for MTA Bus and New York City Transit (NYCT):

This list represents the MTA's final program of projects for the Section 5307 funding obligated in Federal Fiscal Year 2024. Public hearings for the proposed program of projects were conducted by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority on February 6, 2024. This information is provided to the public as required by 49 USC 5307.

These grants listed above obligated a total of $1,107,293,801 in Section 5307 funds for NYCT and MTA Bus. The grants were executed between October 2023 and September 2024. In addition, during this period the MTA obligated a total of $1,201,244,768 in Section 5337 funds, $30,839,783 in Section 5339 funds, $108,091,422 in Section 5324 funds, $1,046,784,764 of Section 5309 Capital Investment Grant (CIG) funds, $50,500,000 in Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality (CMAQ) funds, $15,000,000 from a Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity (RAISE) competitive award, $1,000,000 from a Congressionally directed expenditure, and $100,000 from a Department of Homeland Security award.
