NY-2023-071, NY-2023-086, and NY-2023-099 funded projects for LIRR, MTA Bus, and NYCT.

NY-2022-001-01 Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRRSA Act) and NY-2022-002-02 American Rescue Plan Act (ARP Act) grant amendments, provided additional funding for MTA operating assistance.

Grant amendments NY-2017-047-01 and NY-2022-054-01 added funding to existing MNR and MTA Bus grants.

NY-2021-056-01, NY-2021-065-01, NY-2022-048-01, and NY-2022-065-01 redistributed surplus funds into existing and/or new projects.
This list represents the Metropolitan Transportation Authority’s (MTA) final program of projects for the Section 5307 funding obligated in Federal Fiscal Year 2023. The non-CRRSA/ARP Act grants, totaling $956,592,876.00 of Section 5307 funds for New York City Transit (NYCT), Long Island Rail Road (LIRR), Metro-North Railroad (MNR), and MTA Bus, were executed between August and September 2023. Public hearings for the proposed program of projects were conducted by the MTA on February 7, 2023. This list is provided to the public as required by 49 USC 5307.
The CRRSA and ARP Act grants, amounting to $27,809,846.00, administered under the Urbanized Area Formula Program (49 USC 5307) and awarded by the FTA, were allocated for MTA operating assistance.
