Bus Lane Enforcement Awareness Campaign

Enforced bus lanes are key to improving bus service. To heighten awareness of their use, we're launching a campaign targeted to motorists. The new campaign is presented below. These ads will run on the backs of buses equipped with Automated Bus Lane Enforcement (ABLE) camera systems. The posters will be installed this month, and the campaign will continue as we expand the ABLE program. We're working with NYCDOT to implement transit priority across the city, including the recently announced City commitment to 50 miles of protected bus lanes annually for the next five years.

A rendering shows a black sign with white and yellow text on the back of a bus. The sign reads, "Bus lanes are for buses. Are you a bus? Of course not, silly. Please leave the bus lane."
