Review the Q68 route summary
As part of the Queens Bus Network Redesign, the proposed Q68 would be a new interborough route directly connecting Williamsburg with Steinway and Astoria in Queens.
The route would replace the southern half of the existing B24 in Williamsburg as well as the existing Q101 along Steinway St. This new service improves Brooklyn-Queens connectivity, addressing customer requests for better interborough service. Existing Q101 service to Manhattan would be discontinued, however Manhattan-bound service would still be available through transfers to the proposed Q32 or Q60.
As a Local route, stops would be spaced slightly farther apart than existing to speed up buses and improve reliability.
Frequencies would be increased as compared to the existing B24 and service would operate 24 hours.
