Review the Q58 route summary

As part of the Queens Bus Network Redesign, the Q58 would mostly maintain its existing routing, but would be rerouted at its northern end to serve 111 St and Roosevelt Av instead of 108 St and Horace Harding Expwy, creating a more direct travel path into Flushing and connections to new destinations.

The proposed Q58 changes are related to the proposed Q98, which would be a faster alternative to the Q58. The proposed Q98 would provide an even more direct travel path into Flushing, operating nonstop from Queens Center Mall to Flushing via Queens Blvd, Horace Harding Expwy, and College Point Blvd. Service along 108 St would continue to be provided by the Queens Bus Network Redesign’s proposed Q23.

As a Limited route, stops would be spaced slightly farther apart than Local routes to improve speed and reliability, but still within walking distance.

Frequencies would be slightly decreased and reallocated to the proposed new Q98. Service would still operate 24 hours.
