Review the Q55 route summary

As part of both the Brooklyn and Queens Bus Network Redesigns, the proposed Q55 would maintain its existing routing, but would be extended east in Queens from its existing terminal in Richmond Hill to Jamaica via Jamaica Av. This extension would provide better connectivity between Brooklyn and Queens, improving interborough service.

As a Local route, stops would be spaced slightly farther apart than existing to speed up buses and improve reliability.

No frequency or service span changes are being proposed at this time.
