Review the Q109 route summary

As part of the Queens Bus Network Redesign, the proposed Q109 would be a new route serving segments of the existing Q7, Q41, and Q112 along Pitkin Av, Sutter Av, Rockaway Blvd, 109 Av, and Tuskegee Airmen Wy from East New York to Jamaica, Queens.

This new route would provide a more direct east-west path and a new interborough connection from Brooklyn to Queens. The Q109 would replace existing Q41 service and part of the existing Q7 along Sutter Av and Pitkin Av. Service to Howard Beach would still be provided by the proposed Q21.

As a Local route, stops would be spaced slightly farther apart than existing to speed up buses and improve reliability.

Frequencies and spans would be similar to the existing Q41.
