Review the B76 route summary
The proposed B76 would be a new route connecting the Paerdegat section of Canarsie with Broadway Junction, replacing the existing part-time B17 Paerdegat branch. The proposed new B76 would connect E 80 St/Paerdegat 15 St and the Canarsie-Rockaway Pkwy station in the peak hours, traveling via Avenue and Rockaway Pkwy, and continuing via Rockaway Av to the future accessible Broadway Junction station. The route would remove turns between Paerdegat and the Canarsie-Rockaway Pkwy station, reducing delays. The route would also provide additional service during the peaks to the B42 on Rockaway Pkwy and to the B60 on Rockaway Av.
As a Local route, stops would be spaced slightly farther apart than existing to speed up buses and improve reliability.
Frequencies would be similar to the existing B17 Paerdegat branch. Spans would be reduced as compared to the existing B17 Paerdegat branch.
