Review the B65 route summary

The proposed B65 would be rerouted to travel on Atlantic Av in both directions between Downtown Brooklyn and Washington Av, using a wider street as compared to Dean St/Bergen St and providing a direct connection to the Atlantic Av-Barclays Center subway and LIRR stations. This would also remove a difficult right turn from Bergen St onto Smith St, reducing delays. Existing B65 service on Dean St and Bergen St west of Washington Av would be discontinued. The proposed B65 would also be slightly shortened on its eastern end, terminating at St Marks Av/ Bergen St and Ralph Av. Service on Ralph Av would be provided by the proposed B15 and the proposed B45. Service on Buffalo Av would be discontinued.

As a Local route, stops would be spaced slightly farther apart than existing to speed up buses and improve reliability.

Frequencies would be decreased during Weekday Late Evenings and on Saturdays and Sundays but would still match ridership demand. No service span changes are being proposed at this time.
