Review the B61 route summary
The proposed B61 would mostly maintain its existing routing. On its southern end, it would be shortened slightly to Bartel-Pritchard Sq. Service on Prospect Park W between 15 St and 20 St would be provided by the proposed B81. In Red Hook, northbound service would be rerouted to travel directly from Dwight St to Van Dyke St, removing turns and speeding up travel to Downtown Brooklyn. Direct service to IKEA at Beard St/Otsego St would be provided by the proposed B27, B81, and southbound B61.
As a Local route, stops would be spaced slightly farther apart than existing to speed up buses and improve reliability.
No frequency are being proposed at this time other than a slight decrease Sunday Early Morning. No span changes are being proposed at this time.
