Review the B52 route summary
The proposed B52 would mostly maintain its existing routing, except for a streamlining approaching Fulton St. The proposed route would stay on Gates Av for longer and would use Washington Av to connect to Fulton St. This would increase reliability by removing turns and by utilizing existing bus lanes on Fulton St for a longer distance. It would also reduce travel time for customers connecting to the train, providing a quicker connection at the Clinton-Washington Avs station rather than the Lafayette Av station. Existing B52 service on Greene Av would be discontinued.
As a Local route, stops would be spaced slightly farther apart than existing to speed up buses and improve reliability.
No frequency or service span changes are being proposed at this time.
