Review the B47 route summary

The proposed B47 would mostly maintain its existing routing but would be streamlined onto Kings Hwy for a faster trip between Remsen Av and E 98 St instead of traveling via Clarkson Av and Rockaway Pkwy. This reroute would remove turns and reduce delays. This proposal is pending further study by NYCDOT of the necessary infrastructure upgrades on Kings Hwy for the reroute to be feasible.

As a Local route, stops would be spaced slightly farther apart than existing to speed up buses and improve reliability.

No frequency or service span changes are being proposed at this time.
