About the route

The proposed B37 Local runs between Fort Hamilton and the Downtown Brooklyn. 

The current length of the B37 route is 6.2 miles. This would not change under the Draft Plab.

In the existing route, the average stop spacing is 828 feet. Under the proposed route, that would increase to 1,171 feet. 

In the existing route and the proposed route, there are 0.8 turns per mile. 

The route would include connections to the B1, B4, B8, B9, B11, B16, B25, B26, B35, B38, B41, B41-SBS, B45, B52, B61, B63, B64, B65, B67, B70, B81, the   trains, and the Long Island Rail Road at Atlantic Terminal.

As a Local route, stops would be spaced slightly farther apart than existing to speed up buses and improve reliability.
