Review the B26 route summary

The proposed B26 Rush would mostly maintain its existing routing, except for a streamlining approaching Fulton St. The proposed route would travel between Halsey St and Fulton St via Bedford/Nostrand Avs, reducing turns and delays. It would also provide a direct connection to the future accessible Nostrand Av  express station and to the accessible Franklin Av  station. Existing B26 service on Putnam Av would be discontinued.

As a new “Rush” route with a local and non-stop section, stops along Halsey St would be spaced slightly farther apart than existing, while stops along Fulton St would only be located at key destinations and major transfer points. However, overnight when the proposed B25 would terminate at Franklin Av, the proposed B26 would make all stops between Franklin Av and Downtown Brooklyn.

Weekday PM Peak frequencies would be slightly increased. No service span changes are being proposed at this time.
