The B1 runs between Bay Ridge and Manhattan Beach.
The current length of the B1 Local route is 6.8 miles. This would not change under the Draft Plan.
In the existing route, the average stop spacing is 738 feet. Under the proposed route, that would increase to 967 feet. There would be 1.1 turns per mile.
The route would include connections to the B3, B4, B5, B6, B6 LTD, B8, B16, B36, B37, B44-SBS, B49, B63, B64, B68, B70, B82, B82-SBS, S53, S79-SBS, and S93. It would also connect to the and trains.

As a Local route, stops would be spaced slightly farther apart than existing to speed up buses and improve reliability.
