Review the M100 Route Summary

Route

The M100 routing will change. Service along 125 Street will be discontinued. The new southbound terminal will be at Amsterdam and West 125 Street. Congestion on 125 Street is the primary cause of reliability issues throughout the route, and service on the 125 Street segment is duplicated by the M60 Select Bus Service, M101, and new M125 routes.

Key connecting routes include: Bx3Bx6 Select Bus ServiceBx7Bx19, and Bx36.

Stops

Twenty percent (17 of 84) of the M100 stops along the new alignment will be removed, improving the average distance between stops from 778 feet to 997 feet. By removing these stops, we’ll improve reliability along the route.

See the route profile with full stop list.

Schedule

The M100 schedule will not change. The M100 will have the same service frequency and span as it currently does. Due to the routing change, ridership will be closely monitored, and schedules will be adjusted accordingly.
