Route
The Bx34 routing will not change. The existing route connects several important destinations and neighborhoods.
Key connecting routes include: Bx9, Bx12 Select Bus Service, Bx16, Bx22, and Bx31.
Stops
Seven percent (3 of 42) of Bx34 stops along the new alignment will be removed, improving stop spacing from 1,035 feet to 1,117 feet. By removing these stops, we’ll improve reliability along the route.

Schedule
The Bx34 schedule will not change. The Bx34 will have the same service frequency and span as it currently does. Due to the routing change, ridership will be closely monitored, and schedules will be adjusted accordingly.
