“We are grateful to Senator Schumer for his advocacy on behalf of the L train tunnel project funding. Even though the project was completed well over a year ago,  the MTA has been on hold waiting for promised federal funding - mostly because of foot dragging by the prior administration. We are now hopeful that thanks to Senator Schumer’s unwavering support for the MTA, the federal government will make good on its commitment on this project.”
