Can’t think of the perfect gift? Don’t worry – here are some suggestions from MTA leadership:

Janno Lieber, MTA Chair and CEO

“As the summer travel season kicks into high gear, the NYC Subway Weekender Bag is the perfect gift for dad as he explores all New York City has to offer -- via the transit system, of course.”

Sarah Meyer, Chief Customer Officer

“Start your day by using in the Vignelli Diagram Brooklyn Latte Mug. It’s the perfect gift for tea or coffee lovers alike.”

Craig Cipriano, New York City Transit Chief Operating Officer

“The framed token set is the perfect gift for all those fathers who remember reaching into their pocket to pick out a token from their handful of loose change.

You Can!: Words of Wisdom from the Little Engine That Could is a great book for all the graduates whose world is their oyster.”

Richard Davey, New York City Transit President

“The Token Golf Marker and Divot set is the perfect gift for any transit lover or golfer. And it’s nostalgic since it’s made from an authentic Y-cut New York City Transit token.”

Danny DeCrescenzo, MTA Bridges and Tunnels President

“As a father of three boys, I wouldn’t be disappointed if they gave me a Vignelli Diagram Brooklyn Latte Mug for Father's Day. Growing up in Brooklyn, this would be a nice keepsake, reminding me of some of the places I visited in my youth.

Having a High School graduate in the house this year, I think he would appreciate the timeless inspirational messages in You Can!: Words of Wisdom from the Little Engine That Could book. As the Little Engine will face and overcome obstacles in its journey, so will those taking the next steps in their life.”

Catherine Rinaldi, MTA Metro-North Railroad President and Long Island Rail Road Interim President

“Whether Dad is heading to work or heading out to dinner, these RR Rail Bronze Cufflinks are the perfect way to spruce up and outfit and show railroad pride.

The Vignelli Limited Edtion Silver Pen is the perfect thing for grads to use as they move forward with their degree. And there were only 500 of these pens made, so be sure to grab yours before they’re gone!”

Jamie Torres-Springer, MTA Construction & Development President

“As we work to create a historic expansion of service into Grand Central this year, every dad and grad could use a Grand Central Ceiling Tie.

And personally, I’m hoping for the LOL NYC Jokes Book to improve my arsenal of dad jokes, but my daughters aren’t likely to subject themselves to the impacts of giving me one.”

Frank Annicaro, MTA Bus Company Acting President

“The replica 1999 RTS V2 BX12 bus is the perfect gift to give or receive. The blue and white RTS bus is an iconic part of New York City streets, and the fleet has been completely retired from passenger service.”

Demetrius Crichlow, Senior Vice President for Subways

“The 2nd Ave Core Cufflinks are great for any grads in your life. It takes a great deal of work. The books, the time, the sacrifice with success on the horizon.  What better way to dress for success than to don an ancient piece of bedrock, that went through years of construction, picks, shovels and dynamite to get here.  Not to mention we also got the Second Avenue Subway out of the deal! It's a win/win.”
