Bridge Lift Testing at RFK Bridge Harlem River Lift Span Scheduled for Early Morning Hours of May 7 and May 14

Intermittent Closures of Manhattan Span Planned for Both Directions

Intermittent, full closures at the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge’s Harlem River Lift Span to/from Manhattan are scheduled on Friday, May 7, and Friday, May 14, from 12:01 a.m. to 5 a.m. for bridge lifts to test mechanical functionality and allow completion of routine preventative maintenance. 

Each closure lasts approximately 20 minutes. Motorists may experience delays and should consider an alternate route.
