To bring the importance of rail safety to you, during Rail Safety week we reached out to our customers, and to our railroad communities.
On Monday, September 20, we went out to Stamford, White Plains, and Croton-Harmon stations
On Tuesday, September 21, we went to grade crossings in Nanuet, Sloatsburg, Peekskill, and Valhalla, New York and in Danbury, Connecticut
On Thursday, September 23, our Station Ambassadors handed out Rail Safety Passports at multiple stations.
On Friday, September 24, Metro-Man made an appearance and posed for photos at the North White Plains Station.
Over the weekend, we came out to the Hudson Ave. Crossing and were joined by MTA Police at the Hudson Valley Irish Festival in Peekskill.
Metro-North’s TRACKS program offers free in-classroom and virtual presentations to K – 12 schools, community and civic groups, and driving schools, busing, and trucking companies.
