Untermyer Gardens: A horticulture haven in Yonkers

A Metro-North Railroad Destination:

Untermyer Gardens is open for visitors. The gardens are in full bloom and so is the schedule, with tours and classes for all ages. Open 9 a.m. until one hour before sunset, seven days a week, with no advance tickets needed and no cost to enter.  

Get Going

Take the Metro-North Hudson Line to Greystone Station. The Garden is a 20-minute uphill walk, less than a mile away from the station. Or you can take Metro-North to Yonkers Station and catch the number 6 Bee Line bus in front of the station; get off the bus at Tudor Woods/Gateway Avenue and walk to the Garden.

Purchase your train ticket at any Metro-North ticket office or ticket vending machine or on the MTA eTix mobile app. Use OMNY or MetroCard for the subway or bus.
