Updates and additional application information
New Transit Cleaner application period opening in February 2025
New York City Transit expects to accept applications for the Transit Cleaner position from February 1, 2025 through February 28, 2025. Information regarding the updated selection process will be available at that time.
The current Transit Cleaner hiring list (No. 3610) will continue to be used to fill vacancies until the new hiring list becomes available in the spring/summer of 2025. At that time, only the new hiring list will be used to fill Transit Cleaner vacancies and the current list will be terminated.
