Review the BxM2 Route Summary
Route
The BxM2 routing will change. Service will be rerouted from the Major Deegan Expressway to operate via Inwood and the Henry Hudson Parkway to serve West Midtown. The proposed change will minimize the time the bus spends on heavily congested local Manhattan streets. Customers who use stops south of West 72 Street will have a faster trip, as buses will operate on the Henry Hudson Parkway to West 79 Street instead of traveling on 5th Avenue and traversing through Central Park.
Stops
No BxM2 stops will be removed along the new alignment and one stop will be added. The average distance between stops will be 1,374 feet.

Schedule
The BxM2 schedule will change. The service span for Weekdays, Saturdays, and Sundays will be shortened, with service ending earlier in the day. The service span for Sundays will begin earlier, an improvement from current service. The frequency of service will also be reduced on Weekdays and Saturdays. Sunday service will remain unchanged.
