Plan Ahead
Buy your tickets in advance and bring a mask; masks covering your nose and mouth are required on all Metro-North trains, in all stations and in Grand Central Terminal. Thanksgiving is one of the busiest travel days of the year, and if you're leaving Manhattan after the parade, you must have your ticket and a mask before boarding your train at Grand Central or Harlem-125th Street Station. We strongly suggest you skip the ticket machine line by using MTA eTtix on your iPhone or Android (you'll be 'thankful' you did!).
From all of us at Metro-North Railroad, have a safe and happy Thanksgiving!
