You Bred Raptors?

You Bred Raptors? is an orchestral post-rock ensemble featuring Peat Rains on eight-string bass, Tara Hanish on cello, and KC Solaris on glockenspiels and drums. The band composes television and independent film scores and has toured over eighty cities and five countries. You Bred Raptors? has endorsements from custom-made instrument builders, pedal companies, signature instrument string manufacturers, clothing designers, and mask makers. The band recently performed with Yoko Ono at the Museum of Modern Art. It has also performed at an official TED Talk and were commissioned to be the house band for Adult Swim at Comic Con. The group has performed sold-out shows at the Gramercy Theater, the Bowery Ballroom, and Music Hall of Williamsburg. It's the stage with Phish, Foo Fighters, Kanye West, Yo-Yo Ma, Spoon, Janelle Monae, Secret Chiefs 3, and Snarky Puppy, among others. You Bred Raptors? has been featured on “Good Day New York” and WNYC, as well as in The Economist, The Atlantic Magazine, Strings Magazine, and Bass Guitar Magazine. The group holds artistic residencies in New York City, including as house band in the off-Broadway show “Sleep No More.”
