About the Project

“Urban Motif,” Mario M. Muller's glass art work panels at Kingsbridge Road, reflect the diversity and vibrancy of the surrounding neighborhood as seen in the groups of people who crowd each panel. There are four three-panel works that reflect the passage of time in silhouettes and shadows, conveying the humanity and individuality of the people we travel with each day. The layers of glass are laminated, creating an iridescent quality as the viewer moves past the artworks.
