Spellbound Strings is a classically trained string quartet that plays covers of anime music and other pop culture soundtracks. Members of the group hail from the U.S. and Tokyo. In addition to Music Under New York (MTA MUSIC), Spellbound Strings can be found performing at anime and comic conventions around New York and New Jersey. They aim to bring a fun, nerdy twist to the traditional quartet format, while inspiring young people to learn to play classical music, music they are passionate about!
