Spank was formed by Reggie, Raisin, Herman, and Bernard in Washington Square Park more than 15 years ago. While its inspirations were the Temptations, the Platters, and the Drifters, the group sings Doo-Wop with a twist called "New-Wop." Spank has performed in every type of venue, from parties and private events to a lengthy stage run of the musical "Madhattan" in Las Vegas. The group describes itself as “the hardest working Doo-Wop group around!”
