A Texas-born, classically trained cellist, Sean Grissom is also an “electrifying” street performer on his stripped-down, homemade electric cello. His “superhot, jazzy” mix of country, swing, rock, and Cajun sounds is delivered in an offbeat, vaudeville style. Grissom has performed his one-man show “O'Cello” for audiences in Japan, Canada, and throughout Europe. A proud member of MTA MUSIC, Grissom serves as emcee for the annual MTA MUSIC auditions. He also hosts a holiday vaudeville show at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. Grissom has produced and released seven original recordings.
