Scott Stenten is a guitarist specializing in cutting-edge techniques. He plays a double-neck guitar, often playing chords with the left hand and melodies simultaneously with the right. Stenten grew up in Wisconsin, where he invented gadgets for computers and guitars. He currently lives in New York and credits MTA MUSIC for providing him the foundation to develop into a world-class musician. His unique style uses a two-handed tapping technique with an unusual tonal integrity. With his custom-made acoustic double-neck, often capo clipped, he plays wood-slapping percussive original compositions or pop rock classics. With his jazz double-neck, he plays jazz trio standards associated with musicians like Chick Corea and Wes Montgomery.
