Nicola Vazquez

Woman with a lot of bracelets holding a guitar.

With her sultry blend of folk, pop, rock, and soul, singer/songwriter Nicola Vazquez has been likened to Bonnie Raitt and K.T. Tunstall. A former Broadway performer, Vazquez turned to indie music, blending powerful vocals with rhythmic guitar chops. She has been featured by Billboard, MTV, VH1, EMI/Songcircle Music, NBC, ABC, Oxygen’s “Bad Girls Club,” the Songwriters Hall of Fame, Madison Square Garden, and Yankee Stadium. Vazquez has opened for Eve 6 and Edwin McCain and HAS shared a stage with Ricky Martin, Shanice, and Muzz Skillings of Living Color. She is also the composer/lyricist of the Broadway-bound musical “We Are Ameena.” A member of MTA MUSIC since 2004, Vazquez has released five independent CDs.
