Juilliard-trained violinist James Graseck has performed in venues ranging from Carnegie Hall to the subway platforms. He has been a soloist with orchestras in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and South Carolina. His television appearances include "The Tonight Show," "Prime Time Live," and "The Morning Show." Graseck's film credits include "One True Thing," starring William Hurt and Meryl Streep. He recently performed at Symphony Space with the UN Symphony Orchestra of the UNSRC in a concert attended by many of his subway fans. Reporting in The New York Times, Francis X. Clines wrote of the performance: “The hall was packed last week.… Mr. Graseck, a Juilliard graduate, delivered handsomely on what he long had yearned to do—provide 40 minutes of virtuosity with a full orchestra, for the pleasure of his subway fans.”
