Billy Collins is the author of several books of poetry, including "Horoscopes for the Dead" (Random House, 2012), "Ballistics" (2008), "The Trouble with Poetry" (2005), "Nine Horses" (2002), and "Sailing Alone Around the Room: New and Selected Poems" (2001). He served as the Poet Laureate of the United States from 2001-2003 and the New York State Poet Laureate from 2004-2006.
