Erik Robert Jacobson has an extensive career as a freelance cellist in New York City. Along with live performances, he has appeared in a Nike commercial for the 2019 New York City Marathon, in the short film "A Letter to My Future," and in the HBO documentary "Class Divide." He was the featured cellist on the soundtrack for the Broadway production "Irena's Vow" and was invited to join vocalist Vivian Reed's band for performances at the 2017 National Black Theater Festival. Jacobson also performs with the Harrisburg Symphony. He is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley and the Manhattan School of Music.
