One tube closed overnight 9 p.m. through 5 a.m. May 5 through May 24 for repair work due to Superstorm Sandy. One lane open in each direction in remaining tube. Motorists should allow extra time.

The 3^rd Avenue exit, the last exit in Queens before entering onto the Bronx-Whitestone Bridge, will be closed to all traffic beginning Monday, Jan. 7^th for the next two years as part of a long-term construction project. For detour routes click here.
